Kotobukiya’s Mio Colored Figure Preview
October 14, 2009 at 10:43 am | In Kotobukiya, Movic, Preview | 5 CommentsTags: Figures

As previewed last time, here is the 1/8 scale Akiyama Mio from K-ON! by Movic and Kotobukiya. She will be about 190mm tall. Reservations will probably be announced soon. The costume that she is wearing is an original costume from Kotobukiya.

Well for a Koto figure, this is the best it can get but alter still wins.

I wonder where the costume came from since I don’t remember seeing her in that outfit in the anime. Outfit is interesting but other than that the figure is totally out of proportion… large and long hands, willowy legs and small feet. Face not too good either. Koto could do better. This sculpture is probably influenced by Movic. ^^”
Me thinks Alter is the best so far too.

The costume is probably an original from Koto. I agree the whole body looks kinda weird, I was expecting more from koto sadly.
